Bed & ISA is the process of selling non ISA investments and re-buying them in the form of an ISA each year to make them more tax efficient and use at least some of your Capital Gains Tax allowance.
This becomes relevant where you have more to invest than just your maximum ISA subscription. We would likely arrange for the excess over your ISA to be invested in a matching non-ISA portfolio and then transferred each April to take advantage of your new ISA allowance at the earliest possible opportunity. This is a very tax efficient strategy and one that I can handle seamlessly each year. If you need to complete a self assessment tax return each year I can supply a short report containing the information that you will need.
Clients who have engaged my services on an ongoing basis will receive the Bed & ISA service without any additional charges or commission, for those who have opted not to have an ongoing service I can still carry out the process but with an a additional charge,
